Our Mission

The Evangelical Free Church of India exists to glorify God, to enjoy Him forever, and to advance His kingdom in India and around the world. We exalt God in worship, in praise and in prayer. It is our responsibility as Christians to engage in caring for the needs of the people in our community and in our country where we live, especially to the household of faith. We are called to equipping and edifying the saints through preaching, teaching, training, and to spread the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ by word and deed.

Mission Objectives

Our main objective is to fulfill the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ – Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark16:15).

This may be in such form as:

  • Reaching out to the unreached peoples with the Gospel
  • Uplifting and strengthening new believers in faith, giving, and Christian activities
  • Church planting and promoting believers to be in a position of self-supporting and self-governing
  • Educating and developing new believers
  • Partnership with other mission organizations to enlarge and further our ministry
